Tony yayo rejects jail offer

tonyyayoface00.png

G-Unit’s Tony Yayo rejected an offer of nine months in prison for his alleged assault of Jimmy “Henchmen” Rosemond’s 14 year-old son on Tuesday (July 24). Yayo was arrested in March and charged with misdemeanor assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child after Rosemond claimed that he was slapped by the rapper near his father’s Czar Entertainment offices in Manhattan. He later posted $5,000 in bail and was released. Yayo’s attorney, Scott Leemon, scoffed at the prosecutor’s offer. “The prosecution’s nine-month offer is one Tony vehemently rejected,” said Leemon. “It’s not even a good offer for a guilty person, and Tony denies the allegations absolutely.” Leemon has asked the court to subpoena e-mail messages sent between Czar Entertainment and their public relations firm, 5W Public Relations.

According to New York Post Page Six reports, Porter is finally fed up with Combs’ antics and has plans to make a fresh start on the west coast. She has reportedly purchased a new home in Beverly Hills for herself and four children, of which the three youngest were fathered by Diddy.

“Kim is in Louisiana filming a movie right now, and when it’s done she’s moving to L.A.,” a source told the Post. “She is focusing on her career as a model and actress and raising her children,” the source said. “They are the best of friends, but they just can’t be together right now.”

A spokesperson for Diddy has denied rumors of a split, saying, “There is no truth to this.”

212057-full.jpg

he Beastie Boys score the highest selling hip-hop debut this week with their new instrumental LP, Mix-Up. The project moved just under 44,000 units and will land at No. 15 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart next week. Next up, Queens native Pharoahe Monch enters at No. 58 with his long awaited sophomore solo album, Desire. Unfortunately, for the former Organized Konfusion MC, anticipation did not translate into huge sales, with consumers picking up only 12,000 copies of the disc in its first week in stores. Elsewhere on the charts, Fabolous slips out of the Top 10, dropping eight spots to No. 17, after selling another 38,000 copies of his Def Jam debut From Nothin’ To Somethin. Also sliding this week is Atlanta trio, The Shop Boyz. Although they managed to scan another 28,000 units of their debut album, Rockstar Mentality, they will still move down 12 spots to No. 23.
