Swizz Beats and Juelz to perform next month

Swizz Beatz, Juelz Santana and Rich Boy are among the acts set to perform at “The Hip Hop Independence Jam” next month.

The concert, which will take place at Hampton University’s Convocation Center in Virginia on July 6, will be hosted by Tango and The Boodah Brothers. Young Chris of the Young Gunz and Pre$$ure will also take the stage.

The event will jump off with an open mic contest and dance competition at 7 p.m. Tickets for the concert are available via Ticketmaster.com.
